Colombo: In a crucial Women's World Cup match between India and Pakistan, India, batting first, scored 247 runs in 50 overs, setting Pakistan a target of 248 runs. Although the Indian batting didn't perform as well as expected, Harleen Deol's 46-run knock helped the team reach a respectable score.

India's batting performance was disappointing

From the start of India's innings, the batsmen's performance was poor. None of the Indian batsmen reached the half-century mark, preventing the team's total from crossing 250. Harleen Deol, who scored the most runs, made 46 runs, but even her contribution was not enough for the team.

Pakistan's bowling performance was excellent

Pakistan's bowlers put the Indian batsmen under pressure, and they struggled to score runs. Pakistan's bowling attack put India on the back foot early. Zainab Khan and Nashra Said bowled tightly for Pakistan, taking crucial wickets. Zainab Khan took 3/38 in 10 overs, while Nashra Said took 2/26 in 4 overs.

Target for Pakistan

After India's innings ended, India lost all wickets for 247 runs in 50 overs. Pakistan's bowlers bowled accurately and with control, making it difficult for the Indian batsmen to score runs. Pakistan now has to achieve the target of 248 runs, which will be a challenging task. The Pakistani team will now have to see how well they can bat against the Indian bowlers.

A Challenging Match for Pakistan

This target may be difficult for Pakistan, but their batting order is strong and they will be ready to face any situation. Pakistan's openers Bismah Maroof and Nahida Khan will now have to perform well. Both players have the responsibility to give their team a good start and move towards the target.

A Look at India's Bowling

Now it's India's turn to bowl. India has a strong bowling attack with Jhulan Goswami and Poonam Yadav as key bowlers. The Indian bowlers will need to put pressure on the Pakistani batsmen and take early wickets. If India's bowling is successful, this match could turn in their favor.
