New Delhi: Delhi Capitals slumped to a crushing defeat against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their IPL clash, drawing a strong reaction from co-owner Parth Jindal after another disappointing outing.

Delhi Collapse to 75

Delhi Capitals endured a nightmare with the bat, getting bowled out for just 75 — their lowest total of the season. The innings unraveled early as they were reduced to 9 for 6 inside the powerplay.

Josh Hazlewood led the destruction with a four-wicket haul, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar exploited swing conditions to claim three wickets.

RCB Cruise to Comfortable Victory

Chasing a modest target, Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal ensured there were no hiccups, guiding RCB to a dominant nine-wicket win in New Delhi.

Parth Jindal Urges Team to Stay United

Reacting to the loss, Parth Jindal took to X, calling for resilience within the squad. “Stay together more than ever now Delhi Capitals — really very tough to take but we must keep fighting and keep believing,” he wrote.

Second Consecutive Defeat Raises Concerns

This marked Delhi’s second straight loss, following a high-scoring defeat where Punjab Kings chased down 265 against them, raising serious concerns about both their batting and bowling performances.

Axar Patel Admits Confusion Over Collapse

Captain Axar Patel admitted he was at a loss to explain the dramatic batting failure. “Even I don't know what happened. That's why they say you have to be on your toes in cricket. We have to move on from this match,” Axar said after the game.

He also pointed to earlier moments affecting the team’s momentum — including a refused single by David Miller in a narrow loss to Gujarat Titans and dropped catches by Karun Nair in the game against Punjab Kings.
