Abu Dhabi: The IPL 2026 mini-auction was held on Tuesday at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. Once again, several big-name players attracted the attention of the teams, while some players went unsold. Players like Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Yash Dhull, Vijay Shankar, Deepak Hooda, and Alzarri Joseph were not bought.
A total of 369 players participated in this auction, including 253 Indian and 116 foreign players. The ten teams had a total of 77 slots to fill, and all of them finalized their 25-member squads. A total of ₹215.45 crore was spent in this auction.

Australian all-rounder Cameron Green became the most expensive player in the IPL 2026 auction, bought for ₹25.20 crore. Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings bought Prashant Veer and Kartik Sharma for ₹14.2 crore each, making them the most expensive uncapped players in the IPL.
Several players with a base price of ₹30 lakh went unsold. These include Ambarish, Swastik Chikara, Chama Milind, Hrithik Tandon, Siddharth Yadav, Manan Vohra, Manishankar Murasingh, Ayush Vartak, Utkarsh Singh, Vijay Shankar, and Yash Dhull. Experienced and foreign players with base prices of ₹40 lakh, ₹50 lakh, ₹75 lakh, and ₹1 crore also remained unsold.
