      Weather In Ahmedabad

At present the weather is clear. However hot and humid conditions are expected for the most part of the day.

Ahmedabad: The Season 18 finale of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be played today between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS). The match will take place at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Before the IPL Final, the Closing Ceremony will be held, which will be themed around the Indian Army's "Operation Sindoor". Due to this special tribute, the event has been named a "Tribute Ceremony" instead of the usual closing ceremony.

Both the teams have not been able to win the title so far.

Under such circumstances, IPL is going to have a new champion this time. Bengaluru has played the final three times before. It was runners-up in 2009, 2011 and 2016.

On the other hand, Punjab Kings has reached the final for the second time.

Highlights Of Sunday Match Between PBKS Vs MI
On last Sunday, Punjab Kings defeated Mumbai Indians by 5 wickets in the Qualifier-2 of IPL 2025 and made it to the final of the league. Punjab has reached the final of the league for the second time in 18 years and for the first time since 2014.

Unfortunately Mumbai Indians have lost a match after scoring 200 for the first time. Punjab Kings will face Royal Challengers Bangalore in the final. Neither of the two teams has won the final till date and in such a situation, this time someone's title drought is expected to end.

PBKS Chasing MI
Punjab did not have a good start and the team lost Prabhsimran Singh's score early while chasing the target of 204 runs. However, Josh Inglis hit 20 runs in Bumrah's over. After this Ashwin dismissed Priyansh and Hardik dismissed Josh Inglis. But then Shreyas Iyer and Nehal Wadhera laid the base for victory by sharing 84 runs for the fourth wicket.

Wadhera Scores 48 Runs
Wadhera was dismissed after scoring 48 runs, but Iyer stood till the end and returned to lead the team to victory. Iyer played an unbeaten innings of 87 runs in 41 balls.
