Pant`s appeal regarding the acquisition of land in Uttarakhand and the subsequent response from Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami generating a wave of discussion across netizens.
The Cricketer is currently playing a warm-up match against Sri Lanka XI in Colombo; he was also seen keeping wickets on Friday.

He took to the social media platform X, he wrote, "hello sir how’s you ??? It’s a long time for me especially being local from Uttrakhand . I have been trying to buy land to shift my base from Delhi to Uttrakhand and I couldn’t find anything facilitating and big to live here I love my Uttrakhand. My humble request to us is please help me in land acquisition cause nowadays it had become nightmare with clarity and even other land is dew which was I supposedly get when I was promoting the state before keeping everything in side I wanna move back to my native place to help and built around Uttrakhand and I want to shift back to my Pahadi people please look into this matter it’s been 3 years didn’t get any land awaiting your answer

Pant expressed a desire to establish a base in Uttarakhand and work for his home state. His appeal went viral on social media. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has responded to Pant's appeal and instructed the concerned officials to take action on the matter.
Responding to Rishabh Pant's post, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami described him as the pride of Uttarakhand. He stated that Pant has brought glory to 'Devbhoomi' (the Land of Gods) across the nation and the world through his exceptional game and achievements. Dhami also appreciated Pant's sentiments towards his homeland and his desire to return to Uttarakhand and contribute.

He further added, "Regarding the matter raised by you, instructions are being issued to the concerned officials.
