New Delhi: India’s great cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has broken his silence on the news of his son Arjun Tendulkar’s engagement and told the truth. For the last few days, it was being discussed that Arjun has got engaged to Sania Chandok, but now Sachin himself has confirmed this.
Who is Sania Chandok?
Sania is the granddaughter of Mumbai’s famous businessman Ravi Ghai. The Ghai family is a big name in the hotel and food industry. They have businesses like Intercontinental Hotel and Brooklyn Creamery (ice cream brand). According to reports, Arjun and Sania got engaged in a private event, in which only family and close friends were present.

Sachin ran a session called ‘Ask Me Anything’ on his social media platform in which a user asked Sachin, ‘Is Arjun really engaged?’ To this, Sachin replied, yes, it has happened and we are all very excited for the new phase of his life.
Arjun’s Cricket Career
The 25-year-old Arjun is a left-arm fast bowling all-rounder who represents Goa in domestic cricket and also plays for Mumbai Indians in the IPL. He started his domestic career with Mumbai in the 2020/21 season, where he made his debut in a T20 match against Haryana. Prior to this, he represented Mumbai at the junior level and made it to the India Under-19 team. In the 2022/23 domestic season, he moved to Goa, where he made his first-class and List A debuts.
n the red-ball format, Arjun has featured in 17 matches, scoring 532 runs including a century and two half-centuries and taking 37 wickets, including five wickets once and four wickets twice. In List A cricket for Goa, he has played 17 matches and scored 76 runs in nine innings. In the IPL, he has bowled 73 balls in five matches for Mumbai Indians and has taken three wickets at an average of 38.00, with his best performance being one wicket for nine runs. He has maintained an economy rate of 9.36 and a strike rate of 24.3.
