With this feat, Gujarat Titans became the eighth IPL franchise against whom Kohli has scored at least 500 runs. The Ahmedabad-based franchise joined the IPL in 2022, making Kohli’s achievement even more remarkable given the limited number of matches played against them.
Kohli now stands alone in IPL history with 500-plus runs against eight different teams.
The former RCB captain has previously crossed the 500-run mark against Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals.
Former Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma and ex-India opener Shikhar Dhawan follow Kohli on the list, with both players having scored 500 or more runs against seven IPL teams.
If I have to prove my worth and value, that place is not for me: Virat Kohli
The RCB batter has once again been among the top performers in IPL 2026. His consistency at the top of the order has played a key role in Bengaluru’s strong campaign this season.
Kohli also moved closer to another milestone during the match. Needing just a few more runs to complete 600 runs in IPL 2026, he is on the verge of becoming the first player to score 600 or more runs in four consecutive IPL seasons.
Having already established himself as the highest run-scorer in IPL history, Kohli continues to add new records to his already remarkable legacy in the tournament.
