A private person, Venkat Sathya Kanesh Goli appointed as OSD to Union Minister G Kishan Reddy at the level of Deputy Secretary

New Delhi: The Government has appointed a private person, Venkat Sathya Kanesh Goli as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to G Kishan Reddy, Minister of Coal and Mines at the level of Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Mines.

Goli has been appointed as OSD for a period of four years.

The notifications of appointment was issued on Thursday.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved Goli's appointment, which is subject to certain conditions.

These conditions include:
1. The appointment is on a contract basis.
2. The appointment can be co-terminus with the Minister.
3. The appointment can end if Goli ceases to function as OSD to the Minister or if further orders are issued.
