Tamil Nadu: Snag-hit Air India Flight lands safely in Trichy

Chennai: (Tamil Nadu): A Sharjah-bound Air India Flight, which developed some technical glitch and was circling over the Trichy city in Tamil Nadu for nearly two hours, landed safely at the Tiruchirappalli airport.  

Several ambulances and fire tenders were deployed at the Tiruchirappalli airport. 

According to reports, flight with 144 passengers on board, had taken off at 5.40 pm and reported the glitch soon after.
