Omar Abdullah took oath as the first Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir since it became a Union Territory, following his National Conference (NC) party's victory in the region’s first Assembly election since the abrogation of Article 370.
Maenwhile, along with SP Chief, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition in LS Rahul Gandhi, his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra were among dignitaries who attended the swearing-in ceremony.
