Varanasi: The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) today submitted its report on the scientific survey of Gyanvapi mosque premises before the Varanasi district Judge AK Vishvesha.

The ASI conducted a scientific survey of the Gyanvapi complex in Varanasi after July 21 order of the Varanasi District Judge to determine if the mosque was constructed over some existing structure of a Hindu temple.

The report is to be shared with the petitioners on December 21. A copy of the report will also be sent to the apex court. (Agencies)
