Hitesh Chandra Awasthi appointed as interim DGP of UP

Lucknow: 1985 batch IPS Officer Hitesh Chandra Awasthi has been appointed as interim Director General of Police (DGP) of Uttar Pradesh on Friday. 

Presently, he is posted as Directorate General, Economic Offences Wing, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
