New Delhi/Patna: The Election Commission of India on Friday announced elections on 11 seats of Bihar Legislative Council. The tenure of many veteran leaders including Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, former Chief Minister Rabri Devi, former minister Shahnawaz Hussain, Mangal Pandey, Sanjay Paswan is ending on May 6.
The election for 11 Legislative Council seats will take place on March 21.

Notification: March 4
Last date for nomination: March 11
Scrutiny of nomination papers: March 12
Nomination withdrawal: March 14
Voting : March 21
Counting: March 21 (Evening)
