Breaking: 17 Maoists surrendered in Chhattisgarh

Breaking news coming in from Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district where at least 17 Naxalities have surrendered. Read further on Dynamite News:

Bijapur: Seventeen Maoists surrendered before the police and CRPF in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district, officials said on Thursday. 

According to Dynamite News correspondent, of these, nine were carrying bounties on their heads. 

They were impressed with the government's ‘Niya Nellanar’ scheme under which security forces and administration have been striving to provide basic amenities and carry out development projetcts in interior areas, according to the police.
