Another Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre has applied for retirement under Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS). He is the fourth IAS officer from the state cadre to do so in the last one year. Read full report of Dynamite News:

Lucknow: Another Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre Rigjiyan Samfil has applied for voluntary retirement (VR). He is the fourth IAS from the state cadre to do so in the last one year.

Highly placed sources told Dynamite News on Thursday that Rigjiyan Samfil, a 2003 batch IAS posted as the Resident Commissioner of Uttar Pradesh in Delhi, has requested for voluntary retirement on health grounds.

Samfil is the fourth IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre to seek VR in the last one year.

Last year Renuka Kumar (1987 batch), Juthika Patankar (1988 batch) and Vikas Gothalwal (2003 batch) had sought voluntary retirement.
