New Delhi: The Congress on Thursday announced the launch of a counrtywide protest "Mehengai Chaupal" against inflation.
The protest will be held at all mandis, retail markets and other places in all Vidhan Sabha constituencies from 17 to 23 August.
#Congress to organise a "Mehengai chaupal" at all mandis, retail markets and other places in all Vidhan Sabha constituencies from 17th to 23rd August and this will culminate in the party's "Mehengai pe halla bol" rally at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan on 28th August.

The "Mehengai Chaupal" will culminate in the Party's "Mehengai Pe Halla Bol" huge rally at Capital's Ramlila Maidan on 28 August.
Earlier, on 5 August, Congress had made a massive protest against inflation. On that day many Congress leaders, including Party President Sonia Gandhi, General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi and former Party chief Rahul Gandhi, participated in the demonstration wearing black clothes.
