Delhi: SP chief Akhilesh Yadav reaches Sir Ganga Ram Hospital to meet Azam Khan

New Delhi: Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday reached Sir Ganga Ram Hospital to meet Azam Khan in Delhi. 

Akhilesh Yadav landed at Delhi airport at 10.20 am and directly reached Sir Ganga Ram Hospital at 11.00 am.

This is for the first meeting between the two leaders since the Rampur MLA stepped out of Sitapur jail. 

Khan was admitted to the Medicine Department of the facility on Sunday for a routine medical check-up.

"Akhilesh Yadav visited the hospital and met Azam Khan who is admitted at the facility," a hospital source said.

The condition of Khan is "perfectly stable", hospital sources had said on Tuesday.
