New Delhi: The spree of suspension of Parliamentarians continues in the current Winter Session. Another 49 opposition MPs were suspended from the Lok Sabha today including Samajwadi Party MP from Mainpuri Dimple Yadav
After being suspended from Lok Sabha, Dimple Yadav targeted the BJP-led Centre over the suspension of MPs terming it as the complete failure of the government.
She said the suspension of MPs is very unfortunate. It is not good for democracy..., reports Dynamite News correspondent.
The Mainpuri MP said, “We want the government to discuss the lapses in Parliament security and reinstate the suspended MPs.”
On Tuesday, 49 opposition MPs were suspended from the Lok Sabha for disrupting the proceedings of the Parliament.
Protesting against the suspension of Members from both Houses, Opposition MPs held a demonstration in the Parliament complex on Tuesday and organized 'mock proceedings' of the House. The suspended MPs staged a protest at the Makara Gate of the new Parliament building.
