Comeback of flip phone with Gionee W909

New Delhi / 15 March 2016. The clamshell flip phone which was really popular with people of all ages before the introduction of touch screen phones is all set to make a return and hit the market one more time with the Gionee W909 launching in China on 29 March. 

Gionee W909 has a display of 4.2" TFT (1280 x 720 pixels) with a capacitive touchscreen and a weight of 210 grams. The dual sim phone runs in octa core Helio P10 processor, 4GB RAM with 32GB internal storage which is expandable upto 128GB.

Running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, the Gionee W909 also comes with a fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is equipped with 16MP primary camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. 

The Gionee W909 clamshell phone is expected to be priced at around Rs.40,000.
