Freebies can't bring social justice, education is a basic human right; says Senior Advocate of Supreme Court Jyotika Kalra

Noida: Senior advocate of Supreme Court of India and former member of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) Jyotika Kalra, in an exclusive conversation with Dynamite News, said on Saturday that the Right to Education is not only our Fundamental Right but also a basic human right. Moreover education is an enabling right and thus different from many other rights. She added that social justice cannot be achieved by just giving freebies.

Jyotika Kalra was taking at the time of inauguration of Saksham Rozgar Society. Organized in the office of Noida Entrepreneurship Association in Sector 6, the Chief Guest of the inaugural function was Manu Dogra, Managing Director, Netcarrots Pvt. Ltd.

While addressing the inaugural function, the President of the Society and senior advocate of the Supreme Court, Jyotika Kalra said that justice from the court is not the only justice. But justice broadly means justice in every field, in every work. However economic justice and social justice are extremely significant but social justice cannot be achieved without economic justice.

Talking to Dynamite News about the objectives of Saksham Rozgar Society, Jyotika said that the basic aim of our Society is to promote and encourage employment and entrepreneurship. Our focus areas are education, training and skill development among young people with subject based training. 

This training includes from small to big enterprises right from domestic help to large entrepreneurship. 

On the inaugural ceremony of Saksham Rozgar Society, Vinod Kalra, President of Saksham Bharti outlined and highlighted the drive of Saksham Bharti and his experiences during this glorious journey.
