Ghosi Bypoll Results: SP candidate Sudhakar Singh leading over his BJP rival with a huge margin; Set to win the seat

Ghosi: The Samajwadi Party (SP) candidate Sudhakar Singh has established a big lead over the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Dara Singh Chauhan in the Ghosi assembly seat bypoll, the counting of votes for which began at 8 am on Friday, and is still underway, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

The current trends show that Sudhakar Singh of Samajwadi Party is set to win the seat. 

For this byelection the Congress opted to support the Samajwadi candidate, while former chief minister Maywati's Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), too, did not field its candidate.
