Varanasi: The videography survey of the Gyanvapi Masjid complex resumed today morning at 8 and lasted for four hours, amid tight security. The Advocate Commissioner Ajay Kumar Mishra along with 2 other commissioners, petitioners and all parties were present there during the survey.

The survey went on peacefully today and it will continue on Sunday.

"The survey work went on in a peaceful manner and there has been no objection from anyone. Everything is normal and conclusive, and all parties cooperated," Varanasi Police Commissioner A Satish Ganesh said.

A total of 4 cellars and 3-4 rooms were opened and scanned. The keys were made available for the survey.

A meeting of the two sites--the plaintiffs and respondents--was held on Friday to finalise the survey plan.
