Kolkata: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has set a challenging target of 175 runs for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the first match of Indian Premier League 2025 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata today.

Skipper Ajinkya Rahane hit a half-century (56), while Sunil Narine scored 44 runs. For RCB, Krunal Pandya and Josh Hazlewood took three and two wickets each.
Earlier, Royal Challengers Bengaluru captain Rajat Patidar won the toss and chose to bowl first against Kolkata Knight Riders. KKR are defending champions as they thrashed Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Final last year.
