Jaya Bachchan to be SP’s Rajya Sabha candidate from Uttar Pradesh

Samajwadi Party has declared Jaya Bachchan for the Rajya Sabha candidate from Uttar Pradesh.

Lucknow: Samajwadi Party on Wednesday decided to name Jaya Bachchan as its candidate for upcoming Rajya Sabha elections.

The report added that an official announcement in this regard is expected soon.

Earlier, it was expected that party may well choose someone from its experienced flock of seasoned politicians and the top choice for the post was Naresh Aggarwal.
