J&K: Govt initiates probe against irregularities in Estates Department

Srinagar: The authorities including the investigative agencies have initiated the investigation against the property misappropriation in the Estate Department, reports Dynamite News correspondent.  

The alleged irregularities were brought to the notice of the Government by several social and RTI activists.

The activists concerned have expressed their gratitude to the Government for prompt action in the matter. 

"We are sincerely thankful to the agencies that acted promptly upon receiving our complaints... Their intervention not only reflects accountability but also restores public confidence in governance," said a social activist.

A large number of locals, who are affected by the alleged irregularities in the Estates Department have also lauded the swift action by the Government.
