J&K: HC directs MHA to file updated status of Arms Licences scam probe

Srinagar/Jammu: The Division Bench of J&K and Ladakh High Court has directed the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India to file the updated status report regarding the comments sent by the General Administration Department (GAD) of J&K Government on 27 December 2024, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

The report concerns the infamous Arms Licenses Scam involving several IAS and other officers and investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). 

The Division Bench comprising of Chief Justice Tashi Rabstan and Justice MA Chowdhary has fixed the date of 13 February for next hearing.
