J&K: Jashn-e-Chillai-Kalan In Shopian On 10-11 December

Srinagar: The Chillai Kalan Festival, which is called the ‘Festivals of Festivals’, will be celebrated in Shopian on 10-11 December. The 2-day annual cultural festival of South Kashmir showcases the rich and diverse culture of Kashmir through folk dances, traditional music, local cuisine, handicrafts, art workshops, etc.

The Festival is a great source of boosting tourism in the valley and plays a significant role in preserving, protecting and reviving the richness of Kashmiri heritage. 

Chillai Kalan Festival is hosted by the  Shopian residents with support of various government departments.

This 2nd edition of Festival is being organised at Batpora Stadium, Shopian.
