Kerala: Congress leader Prof KV Thomas sacked from party primary membership

Senior Congress leader Prof KV Thomas who attended the election campaign for the Left candidate in Thrikkakara by-election, has been expelled from primary membership of the Congress party on Thursday night. Read further on Dynamite News:

Thiruvananthapuram: Senior Congress leader Prof KV Thomas who attended the election campaign for the Left candidate in Thrikkakara by-election, has been expelled from primary membership of the Congress party on Thursday night.

Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President K Sudhakaran MP issued the order in this regard with the consent of the AICC, a release said.

Earlier, the AICC disciplinary committee took action against KV Thomas for defying the party decision to not attend the 23rd CPI(M) party congress in Kannur.

The Congress leadership has given you a chance to correct your mistakes. However, you have challenged the leadership and repeated mistakes that would bring the party into disrepute in the public domain. (UNI)
