Lucknow: DM Sonbhadra and SSP Ghaziabad suspended following serious allegations of corruption and negligence

Lucknow: TK Shibu, District Magistrate of Sonbhadra and Pawan Kumar, SSP of Ghaziabad suspended following serious allegations of corruption and negligence.  

Pawan Kumar, 2009 batch IPS officer and SSP Ghaziabad suspended by Yogi Government for dereliction of duty and for failure to control crime.

Sonbhadra District Magistrate T.K. Shibu suspended on charges of corruption in mining and construction works and negligence during the UP assembly elections. Shibu has been attached to the Board of Revenue in Lucknow.

According to an official spokesman, there were complaints of corruption against Shibu in mining, district trust committee and other construction works.

The investigation of the allegations has been handed over to the Commissioner of Varanasi division.
