Maha Kumbh 2025: Actor Mamta Kulkarni becomes Sannyasin, check her new name

Prayagraj: Bollywood Actor Mamta Kulkarni has become a 'Sannyasin' at the Maha Kumbh. She has also changed her name. Now, her new name is Mamta Nand Giri. 

Meets Acharya Mahamandaleshwar
The nineties actor reached the Maha Kumbh Mela where she met Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Dr Lakshmi Narayan Tripathi at Kinnar Akhara.

She was wearing saffron-coloured outfit and Rudraksh garland whem she met Acharya Mahamandaleshwar.  

The Karan Arjun actor last month posted a video of herself on Instagram, in which she announced that she would take holy bath in Maha Kumbh.  

The actor also issued her first statement after taking sanyas. 

To visit Ayodhya
The actor, in a video posted on social media, said after completing rituals at Maha Kumbh she would visit Varanasi to offer prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. She also plans to travel to Ayodhya.
