New Delhi: Congress Party President Mallikarjun Kharge and senior leader Sonia Gandhi declined the Ram Mandir invitation on Wednesday.

Several top politicians, athletes and celebrities were invited for the consecration ceremony, which is set to take place on January 22.

As per temple officials, the ceremony will be held over a span of seven days starting from January 16.
