Myanmar earthquake death toll 25, Rescue operation underway

Bangkok: An earthquake in Myanmar, two strong back-to-back shaken claimed 25 lives on Friday. 

The 7.7-magnitude tremor hit northwest of the city of Sagaing at a shallow depth. A 6.4-magnitude aftershock hit the same area minutes later.

The tremors were also felt across Thailand, as well as in neighboring Chinese provinces.
