Next GST Council Meeting on June 22 in New Delhi

New Delhi: The 53rd Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council meeting will be held in New Delhi on June 22.

"The 53rd meeting of the GST Council will be held on 22nd June, 2024 at New Delhi," the central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs said in a post on X.

The GST Council is headed by the Union Finance Minister and comprises representatives of all states and UTs. It is the apex decision-making body for indirect taxes in India.

Nirmala Sitharaman  has assumed charge as the Finance Minister on Wednesday. (with Agency inputs)
