Odisha: Car rams into parked truck in Keonjhar; 8 killed, several otheres injured

Keonjhar: At least eight people were killed and several others critically injured when their car hit a stationary truck in Keonjhar district on Friday morning.
According to officials, the deceased included three women and a child. While seven people died on the spot, another succumbed at a hospital.
The deceased were identified as Mita Pradhan, her son Akash, daughter-in-law Lili. Similarly, members of another family who died were identified as Bayakhand Gauda, Madan Gauda, Mamina Gauda, Babina Gauda. Police were yet ascertain the name of another deceased member of the Gauda family.
The accident took place on National Highway 20 near Balijodi village in the Ghatagon area when the occupants of the vehicle were going to visit a temple.
