Punjab: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi meets Moose Wala’s family members in Mansa

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi met the family members of slain Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala in Mansa district on Tuesday and expressed condolences to his family. Read more on Dynamite News:

Mansa: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi met the family members of slain Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in Mansa district on Tuesday and expressed condolences to his family. 

Rahul landed at the Chandigarh airport this morning and drove straight to the singer's native village Moosa.

Punjab Congress chief Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, Leader of Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Partap Singh Bajwa, former deputy chief minister O P Soni and many other party leaders accompanied him.

Security was tightened outside the residence of Moose Wala in view of Gandhi's visit to Moosa. 

Moose Wala was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Mansa on May 29.

Moose Wala had unsuccessfully contested from the Mansa seat in the 2022 Punjab Assembly elections on a Congress ticket.
