Punjab: Several farmers injured after clash with police in Gurdaspur

Punjab: Seven farmers have been injured after protesting farmers on Tuesday clashed with police personnel in Punjab's Gurdaspur. 

The farmers alleged that the land is being acquired for expressway, but sufficient compensation is not being provided to them.  

The farmers also alleged that there were attempts to forcibly acquire their land without providing them with prior notice.
