Gujarat HC refuses to quash FIR
The Apex Court's stay came after the Gujarat HC refused to quash an FIR against the Congress MP in the case.
'Politically motivated'
Imran Pratapgarhi said the FIR was politically motivated.
The Congress leader had posted a 46-second video on X (formerly known as Twitter), in which he was seen walking amidst a shower of flower petals with a background song, which the FIR called it as provocative, harmful to national unity, and offensive to religious sentiments.
