Delhi: Senior IAS K Sanjay Murthy has been appointed as the new Comptroller and Auditor General of India.
Currently, he is serving as the Secretary of the Department of Higher Education in the Ministry of Education.
Murthy is an IAS officer of 1989 batch Himachal Pradesh cadre.
He will replace GC Murmu
Murthy will replace GC Murmu, who was appointed as the CAG in August 2020.
