Lucknow: Senior IPS Officer UP Special Task Force (STF) Chief and ADG Law and Order Amitabh Yash has been appointed as a Nodal Officer in UP for Lok Sabha Election 2024.
UP DGP Prashant Kumar, on Friday, officially announced the name of ADG Law and Order and STF Chief Amitabh Yash as the Nodal Officer for 2024 Lok Sabha Poll in UP.
Amitabh Yash is known as one of the most renowned IPS Officers who had encountered several gangsters, dacoits, hooligans and criminals in UP and many other parts of the country.
He was conferred with two Gallantry Awards by the President.
