Veteran journalist Anoop Kumar dies of cardiac arrest, leaving media world in shock

New Delhi: Senior journalist D Anoop Kumar died of a massive heart attack yesterday in Manali where he had gone along with his family to welcome the new year. Kumar has been working with national media for about 20 years. His sudden demise has left the media world in shock and wonder. Just heard about the sad demise of my journalist friend D Anoop Kumar. His last rites will be performed in Gokulam. Kumar originally belonged to Ernakulam, Kerala. Kumar was a sincere, dedicated and committed professional who never compromised with the journalistic principles. Gutted to hear that a fine, young ex-colleague has passed on. A condolence meeting was held at the headquarters of Dynamite News in New Delhi and heart felt tributes were paid to the departed soul. In the meeting, the founder and editor of Dynamite News Manoj Tibrewal Aakash, former DD news reader Ved Prakash and many other journalists including Subhash Raturi, Ashutosh Agarwal, Rashmi Prakash, Sreeja Chwodhery, J P Pathak, Vishwa Deepak Awasthi, Shivendra Chaturvedi, Jayant Singh, Sarim Zafar expressed their condolences for the departed soul and prayed to the All Providence to grant peace and courage to the bereaved family members.
