New Delhi: Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi on Friday paid tribute to Jawaharlal Nehru on 58th death anniversary, at his memorial Shanti Van in New Delhi.

Many other Congress leaders were also paid tribute to India’s first Prime Minister.

Nehru, the first prime minister of India, held office between August 1947 and May 1964. He passed away on May 27, 1964.
