Umesh Pal Murder: Atiq Ahmed to be taken to Prayagraj again from Sabarmati jail after fresh warrant

Prayagraj/Ahmedabad: A Warrant B has been issued against gangster Atiq Ahmed to bring him to Prayagraj. As per reports, Uttar Pradesh police have reached Sabarmati jail with a fresh warrant.
According to Dynamite News correspondent, a Warrant B was issued on April 8, according to which Atiq Ahmed will have to be produced before the Allahabad Court within a week i.e. April 15. If the prosecution wants, it can extend its term by filing an application.
Mafia don-turned-politician, Atiq Ahmed was convicted by an MP-MLA court on March 28, and sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment in the abduction case of now-deceased Umesh Pal. This is Ahmed's first conviction even though more than 100 cases were registered against him.
