UP: Bolero collides with a tempo head-on in Kasganj; 8 dead, 12 injured

Kasganj: At least 8 people died and a dozen others were injured after a Bolero collided head-on with a tempo on Patiyali-Mainpuri Road in Patiyali Kotwali area here on Tuesday. 

All the devotee were returing from a satsang at Bhole Baba Dham in Bahadurnagar village. 

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed his condolences and grief over the ill-fated accident and directed the officials to get free treatment to the injured.

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the District Magistrate Harshita Mathur and Superintendent of Police reached the spot to supervise the relief and rescue operations. 

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem.  

All the devotees are resident of Farrukhabad.
