UP Bureaucracy Reshuffle: 9 IAS, 2 PCS officers shifted in the state

Lucknow: In a major bureaucratic reshuffle in Uttar Pradesh, the state government has transferred and posted 9 IAS and two senior PCS officers.
IAS officer Rajesh Kumar Pandey is the new DM of Jalaun while Markandeya Shahi has been appointed as the Acting Labour Commissioner.
New postings of IAS officers:
1. 2009 batch IAS officer Markandeya Shahi has been transferred from Special Secretary Food and Logistics and Controller Legal Distribution Metrology Department to acting Labour Commissioner.
2. Rajesh Kumar Pandey, Special Secretary, Agriculture Production Commissioner Branch and Joint Managing Director, Jal Nigam Rural is new DM of Jalaun.
3. Mrs. Anuj Malik, while being posted as Additional Commissioner and Divisional Food Controller in Gorakhpur, has also been given the responsibility of Officer on Special Duty in Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority.
4. Basti CDO Rajesh Kumar Prajapati was made Special Secretary in Agriculture Production Commissioner Branch.
5. Joint Magistrate Jaidev CS in Varanasi has been shifted as CDO of Basti.
6. Gorakhpur Joint Magistrate Neha Bandhu has been made CDO of Mainpuri.
7. In Bareilly, Joint Magistrate Pratyush Pandey has been made CDO of Deoria.
8. Chief Secretary's Staff Officer Divya Prakash Giri has been shifted as Special Secretary Excise.
9. Special Secretary Excise Uday Bhanu Tripathi has been given the responsibility of Special Secretary, Housing and Urban Planning.
New postings of PCS officers:
1. Deoria CDO Ravindra Kumar has been made Staff Officer to the Chief Secretary.
2. Mainpuri CDO Vinod Kumar has been shifted as Special Secretary in the Public Works Department.
