Lucknow: Voting has started on 9 assembly seats in UP. During this, the thing to note is that the gates of the polling stations will be closed by 5 pm. Only those voters who reach the centers by 5 pm will be able to cast their votes.

Previous schedule
Earlier the voting time was from 7 am to 6 pm. The Election Commission has not given any specific reason for the change in voting time.

Cold weather 
It is being said that this decision has been taken due to the changing weather. It is being said that voting will be closed an hour earlier due to increasing cold. (with Agency inputs)
