UP election: Villagers boycott polling in Khaga over developmental issues

Fatehpur: With the voting for the fourth phase of Uttar Pradesh Assembly election begun on 53 constituencies, Villagers in Fatehpur's Khaga boycott polling over developmental issues.

No vote has been recorded at booth numbers 105 and 106, 9 and 8 votes have been recorded at booths 107 and 109.

In this phase, over 12 districts spread over 53 constituencies, are going for polling including the likes of Bundelkhand, and the Congress-dominant Rae Bareli region.

Other districts voting today as part of UP Polls Phase 4are: Pratapgarh, Kaushambi, Allahabad, Jalaun, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Banda, Chitrakoot, Fatehpur and Rae Bareli.

Over 10.23 percent voter turnout was recorded on Thursday till 9 a.m. (ANI)
