Lucknow: Samajwadi Party has fielded three candidates for the State Legislative Council election. The candidates are: 1) Guddu Jamali 2) Balram Yadav 3) Kiranpal Kashyap Guddu Jamali had recently left Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party and joined SP. It is considered certain that the SP will win these three seats.
