Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has now effected a big change in its transfer policy. CM Yogi has now taken the entire command of transfers in his own hands.

An official notification has been issued by the Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra regarding the new transfer policy. The notification said that after the end of the posting period, the approval of the Chief Minister would be necessary for transfer of all Group A to D employees and officers.

Earlier, only class A and B officers transfers required approval from the Chief Minister.

Under the new policy, the approval of the Chief Minister has also been made mandatory for the transfer of Group C and D employees.

The Yogi Adityanath cabinet had approved the UP Transfer Policy 2022-23 on June 14, under which transfers were to be made by June 30.
