Uttar Pradesh: Four people of a family killed, several injured after portion of ceiling collapses in Bulandshahr
The killed people were sleeping on the lower floor of the house when the incdicent took place. The upper floor had gone through roof work simply the day before the mishap. Read further on Dynamite News:
Bulandshahr: At least four people killed after a part of the roof in a house collapsed in Bulandshahr on Wednesday. Police and emergency services were dispatched to the scene, where the rescuers attempted to recuperate the bodies of the victims.
According to the police, The killed people were sleeping on the lower floor of the house when the indicent took place. The upper floor had gone through roof work simply the day before the mishap.
As per reports, the second floor of the house's lintel fell on Tuesday and caught the thirteen individuals from a single family.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has announced ex gratia of Rs 4 lakh each to the family of the deceased.
The rescue operation is currently underway. (with Agency inputs)
