Uttar Pradesh: Tractor-trolley overturns after being hit by bus killing 6 in Jaunpur

Jaunpur: At least six people died and one was injured when a tractor-trolley overturned after being hit by a roadway bus in the Sikrara area of Jaunpur district, police said on Monday.
Police sources said the incident took place late on Sunday night when the tractor-trolley carrying laborers was hit by the bus coming from Prayagraj near Samadhganj Bazar village.

"After being hit by the bus, the tractor-trolley overturned, killing Neeraj Saroj (28), Rajesh Saroj (45), Sangram Saroj (25), Chaai Musahar (20), Atul Saroj (30), and Govinda Bind (30 ) on the spot," police said.

SP Dr. Ajay Pal Sharma, along with ASP (Rural) Shailendra Kumar Singh and other officers, reached the spot to supervise the rescue work. (with Agency inputs)
